Chess engine: Stockfish (GPLv3)
Layout Duels includes an unmodified WebAssembly build of the Stockfish 18 chess engine (the Stockfish.js build by Nathan Rugg), which runs locally in the browser and is used for post-game fair-play analysis. Stockfish is free software licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 3 (GPLv3).
